Advantest Korea Is Korean Local Corporation Of Japan??s Advantest, The Biggest Semiconductor Test Equipment Company In The World. We Began As Dong-a Advantest In 1986 And As Market Demand Increased, Japan??s Advantest Invested 100% On 21 April 1996 To Build A Production Plant For Semiconductor Test System And Its Supplement Devices In The Third Plant Complex Located In Cheonan Cityin May 1997 And Complete It In March 1998. As Our Production Plant Was Completed, We Were Able To Adequately Supply Necessary Equipment And Promptly Provide Technical Service To Semiconductor Companies In Korea. We Also Contributed In Establishing Production Base Of Semiconductor Equipment In Korea And Nurturing Expert Human Resources. This Eventually Led The Company To Serve As A Bridgehead For Exports To Southeast Asia.in July 1998, We Absorbed Sales Organization Of Donghwa International Corporation That Was Responsible For Sales Of Advantest In Korea And Reborn As An Organic Organization Capable Of Handling Production, Sales And Technical Service. We Are Currently Selling Testers And Handlers, And Plan To Gradually Expand The Range Covering Sales Ofsemiconductor Manufacturing Equipment And Measurement Equipment Including Electron Beam Lithography System And Laser Equipment. The Semiconductor Consists Of A Combined Expert Technology Of Electronics, Electric, Computer, Mechanics, Physics And Chemistry Thus Domestic Production Rate Of Equipment Is Low And Price Is High. Due To This Reason, It Is Difficult For Universities To Own Equipment And As This Is The Case, Classes Are Theory-oriented Than Experiment-oriented. To Improve Such Poor Education Environment, We Are Currently Providing Much Support And We Continue To Do So In The Future To Contribute In Enhancing Semiconductor Technology Skills. At Present, Technology Basis In Semiconductor Equipment Field In Korea Is Weak And A Large Portion Is Either Provided Through Forming Technology Alliance With Advanced Foreigncompanies Or Totally Relied On Foreign Equipment. And At This Moment, Advantest Korea Would Like To Contribute In Domestic Production Of Equipment By Accumulating Domestic Basis Technology Acquired From Producing And Selling Semiconductor Test Systems And Their Core Parts, And Providing Technical Services In Korea. We Are Going To Seek Technical Elements Required In Various Fields Such As In Semiconductors And Telecommunication And Make Them Our Own.
